What is a Buhba? How in the world did we get our name? And how do you even say that name? Am I saying your name right?
Buhba Knows Marketing started six years ago and has evolved greatly into what we are today, including a new name to go along with it. Six years really seems like forever, and with the way that the Internet is constantly changing, it seems like we have been at it for almost 60 years now.
Anyways, more about us and what we are about. First of all, we will get to the name. Buhba is actually a nickname of the owner’s son and he just thought it would be neat to incorporate that into his business. So, that is what a Buhba is and how we got the name. The name is pronounced just like Bubba, but since that name was taken, we went with the next best spelling that still sounded the same, just with a little twist. We wanted the name to be memorable and short, and low and behold, we got Buhba.
We believe the name goes with our philosophy that if you are going to do something, you might as well make it memorable. Anyone can make a web site, do a marketing company or come up with a business name, but how many people are really going to remember it? With a brandable name such as Buhba, it is hard to forget! And once you work with us, you will see that it is not just our name that is memorable!

To put it bluntly, we are a full service online & offline marketing company. The largest potion of our business currently is Pennsylvania web design and Pennsylvania online marketing. While we have clients all over the United States, the bulk of our business comes from the state that we are based in, which is obviously Pennsylvania. Our se, rvice has been used by businesses large and small and even a few celebrities. At this time, we have worked with NBA star Kobe Bryant, former boxer Buster Mathis (he fought Mike Tyson) and Robert Tate, a 9 year NFL veteran.
The business started out as an incentive marketing company, which is where you pay people to try out and sign up for certain offers. It is an odd form of marketing, but one that works for the right marketplace. While Buhba did great in this market, advertisers slowly started to withdraw from this type of advertising and Buhba moved on to a more stable, viable form of marketing. From there, the sky was the limit, as Buhba expanded further info all forms of affiliate marketing.
While affiliate marketing is a totally different beast from web design, they really feed each other, as you can’t expect clients to purchase from a poorly designed website. That is where our web design department formed, and it also has skyrocketed as well. We now have a large client base of small and large businesses in all areas, from pizza shops to computer repair stores to boutiques!
